Ras-Rasmalai is a popular Bengali sweet, made with chickpeas, milk and sugar. It is usually served during festive seasons and on special occasions. Rasmalai is originally derived from two words – “ras” and “malai”, where “ras” means “juicy” and “malai” means “thickened milk”.
